Top 10 must do’s in Aruba

When I was young my dad showed me the island through his eyes, he was born and raised in Aruba and he knew all the cool & secret spots. I’ve also spend countless days on my own, discovering and wandering around the island of Aruba looking for new spots or simply enjoying my favorite ones. I love sharing my passion for Aruba with other people so today I will share with you the 10 things you must do in Aruba! Enjoy and let me know which ones you’ve done or want to do 😛 1. Go snorkeling or diving Aruba has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, but simply don’t forget to check out what lays under the crystal clear waters of these beaches 😉 There are lots of snorkeling & boat tours on the island, but you can also just rent snorkeling gear and go explore for yourself. Just make sure the locations you visit are safe enough to snorkel. Here is a link to my favorite snorkeling spots on the island.   …

My 4 favorite smoothies

Hi loves! Today I want to share with you my 4 favorite smoothies and how you can make them at home 🙂 When ever I need an energy boost or when I’m feeling nauseous, I’ll blend up some fruits and make a smoothie. I’ll honestly make a smoothie whenever, pretty much obsessed with them 😛 1. Kale smoothie This is a super healthy smoothie, don’t be afraid of kale! Ingredients ♥ 1 1/2 cups frozen pineapple chunks ♥ 1 cup chopped kale ♥ 1 banana, cut in chunks ♥ 1 cup milk (you can always add some more if needed) 2. Blueberry-Strawberry smoothie This is the smoothie I make when I have left over blueberries and strawberries that are a little bit overripe. Super easy to make and absolutely delicious! It also gives you an energy boost, so when I am studying, I’ll most likely make this smoothie 🙂 Ingredients ♥ 1 cup strawberries ♥ 1/2 cup blueberries ♥ 2/3 cup milk or yogurt …

I have many cats back home in Aruba, but now that I am studying abroad I don’t really get to pet any cats at all 🙁 That’s why this weekend I went to visit the first cat café in Rotterdam, Pebbles Kitty Cat Café. Pebbles was started by Freddy, she has had cats her whole life and has a really big heart for them. This is also the reason why all the eight cats in the cat cafe are adopted from a local shelter. Pebbles Kitty Cat Cafe wants to encourage everyone who wants to adopt a cat, to adopt a cat from a local shelter (I completely agree!!). Almost all the cats that I own, I found on the streets or adopted from the Aruba animal shelter.  Some info about the cat café: At Pebbles you can enjoy the company of loving cats while treating yourself to some coffee and cake. There is an entree fee of € 3,50 sort of like a cat-tax to make sure the cats are well taken care of and are provided …
