Renaissance Island

Renaissance Island is a 40-acre tropical paradise, which is available to guests of the Renaissance hotel (But you can also buy a day pass). This is one of my favorite places in Aruba. I mainly come here to relax and guess what? Renaissance Island is home to beautiful pink flamingos!! (Definitely my favorite part). You can hang out with these flamingos on the flamingo beach or you could relax on the Iguana beach (you guessed it! here you can find friendly iguanas walking around)

*TIP: bring some quarters so that you can buy them some food, and you will have some pink birdy  best friends in no time!

There are plenty of things to do here on Renaissance Island, you can rent snorkeling gear and go for a swim, sun searcher floats, ocean kayaks, paddle boards, visit the spa cove or just simply lie on the beach with white sand between your toes. Whatever it is you do, I am sure you will love it here! The best time to go to Renaissance Island is before 10 am, around this time there won’t be many people 😛

Have you ever been to Renaissance Island? What do you think of it? Let me know in the comments! And enjoy the pictures down below  🙂

I am sure you will love it there!
Go early in the morning and buy some flamingo food (Its only a quarter). This way you will get a lot of flamingo attention and you can take all the crazy pictures you want ?!! Xx

    1. Aw thank you so much, glad you like my pictures! A day pass costs about $99 but if you are crazy about flamingos, I would say its definitively worth it 🙂

  3. Love your write up on this! Going my ninth time in December as I rent the villa with the Infiniti pool right across from Catalina beach heading towards the lighthouse. Can’t beat Aruba and now I have to go to Renaissance island 🙂
